Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world.

Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

Letter from the President

On behalf of the Beta Tau chapter at the University of Toronto, welcome to Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII)! We can’t wait to give you a glimpse into AOII and show you what makes our sisterhood so special. As AOIIs we are continually striving to inspire ambition. Between academics, philanthropy, leadership, and more, we are committed to pursuing our best selves in everything that we do, and we strive to use our talents and gifts to better those around us. The Beta Tau chapter is an amazing group of women from all over the world which makes our chapter especially unique. We host a philanthropy event called Pie-A-Pi every year where we collect donations to pie one of the sisters in the face to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation. Our monthly sisterhood events are a fun way to get to know everyone in the chapter and always leave us with great memories, like our yearly slumber party at the house! I am incredibly thankful for this authentic group of women and the opportunity to know each and every one of them. Our chapter is comprised of women with different aspirations supporting one another, and for that I am so grateful. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website, learn about our chapter, and AOII.
